IF YOU HEARD WHAT ARIEL HEARD
ARIEL SHARES THE STORY OF HER GRANDFATHER, HERSHY ZELOVIC, WHO WAS A TEENAGER WHEN HE WAS TAKEN TO THE SYNAGOGUE HE GREW UP IN - A PLACE HE HAD HAPPY MEMORIES - HE WAS BEATEN BY THE NAZIS, AND PUT INTO FORCED LABOR. HE BUILT THE MUNCASZ GHETTO, WHERE HE AND HIS FAMILY WERE THEN FORCED TO LIVE IN INHUMANE CONDITIONS BEFORE BEING SENT TO AUSCHWITZ. HE SURVIVED IN FORCED LABOR THROUGHOUT THE HOLOCAUST, SIDE-BY-SIDE WITH HIS BROTHER WILLY. THEY REUNITED WITH ONE OF TWO SURVIVING SISTERS, AND TOGETHER MOVED TO ENGLAND AFTER THE WAR, AND THEN THE U.S., WHERE THEY REBUILT THEIR LIVES.
IF YOU HEARD WHAT ARIEL HEARD, YOU WOULD NEVER FORGET.
